After a few attempts to plan a shoot here over the years, one finally materialized with Jada. I think it was the combination of magic and creative energy. Whatever it was, the curse was ended and we hit the trails into the forest.
We’ve really lucked out this summer with endless oppressive heatwaves and almost no rain; The lakes and rivers were running dry, the grass was brown and scraggly, and the forest was hot. At least 96 degrees without counting humidity… but we managed to roll through and capture an adventure.
And now that the curse was officially broken, we wrapped up the shoot with some Trader Joe’s snacks and a sweaty goodbye.
